Exploring different employment paths is a good way to learn about various opportunities and discover passions that can lead to lifelong careers. During our fourth annual Career Day , Todos Unidos!, a Mazda employee business resource group, hosted 29 students from the Los Angeles chapter of College Track to learn about the diverse careers available within the automotive industry. Students spent a day on Mazda’s north corporate campus exploring various career paths and networking with Mazda employees.
This partnership between College Track, a nonprofit organization that empowers first-generation college students, and Todos Unidos! has reached more than 100 students since it began in 2022.
This initiative is a testament to the philosophy behind Be Moved: inspiring students to discover what moves them forward in life. By connecting our passionate employees with self-motivated students, this next generation of workers is getting a glimpse into potential careers and discovering what’s possible for their future. This engagement is another way Mazda is investing in the future of students and uplifting the community.
Note: The Mazda Foundation financially supports a holistic educational and job mentoring program at College Track’s Los Angeles area program centers.
